Trades: Asphalt Roofing - Install or Replace, Asphalt Roofing - Repair I have a 14x70 mobile home that is connected with a hallway to a 12x60 home which makes it all one home. The home currently has a metal roof. I replaced the first house roof when I got the addition of the hallway added on. I thought I could save the second roof with some sealant, but it needs to be tore down and replaced with osb and shingles like the first home. I have the county permit already pulled and also approved engineer plans. I also have started putting plywood on the walls and took down the old metal, I plan on putting on vinyl siding.
Scope to confirm
- Tear-off scope and decking inspection/replacement allowance confirmed.
- Underlayment, ice-and-water shield, and flashing details specified.
- Shingle/material spec, color, and warranty in writing.
- Ventilation, ridge, and penetration boots addressed.
- Cleanup, magnetic nail sweep, and final inspection.
