• Match your projects with contractors and process quote requests
• Send transactional emails (welcome, project alerts, payment receipts) according to your preferences

• Generate AI-assisted QuoteCheck opinions and Deep Reviews when you request them
• Detect fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations

Shared network data

HomeManager shares a database with Handyman.com and other network sites. Your homeowner account, projects, and files are accessible across the network with the same login. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-party services

We use trusted third parties to operate the service, including:

• ServiceEscrow.com — all checkout (Deep Review, Homeowner Plus, milestone payments)
• Amazon Web Services — file storage (S3) and email delivery (SES)
• Google — OAuth sign-in (when you choose “Continue with Google”)
• Anthropic — AI-generated quote analysis and blog content

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Data retention & security

We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure cloud storage.
